The Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday and Thursday changed the dates for those inmates who will have their good-time credits recalculated. Instead of calculating for their past 10 years in prison, the plan will calculate only last year's time in prison. That means far fewer inmates would be eligible for immediate parole.
